3-D Awards Participating dancers will be awarded a gold, silver or bronze award for each number performed. This will include all groups, lines and productions. The scoring ranges:
If there is more than one entry in a category, we will award placements to the dancer or dancers with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd highest scoring marks. |

Sensational Special Awards Triple "D" Award - Awarded to any performance the judges feel combine distinctive, daring and dynamics in dance choreography. This award is presented to the Choreographer in both the 12 & under and 13 & over divisions. A Scholarship of $100/00 will be awarded to each winner. Stage- Rite Award - Awarded for the costume: one in each of the 12 & under and 13 & over divisions. The judges will award $50.00 to each winner in appreciation to the person, or persons involved in making the final costumer product, unique, age appropriate, suited to the music selection as as the costumes appearance on stage. Innovation In Dance Award - Awarded to any performance the judges feel goes a bit above and beyond. That the originality of the choreography combined with a unique and different music selection and appropriate costume and dance style make this a performance that is too memorable to forget. A scholarship of $100/00. Three "D" Dancer - This award will be presented to the one junior and one senior dancer the judges feel will DANCE DANCE DANCE for many years to come. This dancer possesses tremendous potential, charisma and drive. The judges feel these individuals should continue with their dance education. The recipient of these awards need not have scored the highest overall mark of a soloist. A scholarship of $100.00 will be awarded to each winner. |
